This document is a supplier multilingual statement prepared for use in audit, compliance and tender files. It is not a third-party conformance certificate, a translation-service certificate or a laboratory report. "Met" is used only for items closed by internal review. This statement does not provide ISO 24495-1 certification, an ISO 17100 translation-service certificate, an ISO 21998 interpreting certificate, JCI accreditation or any HIMSS maturity level.

The WCAG aspects of language access are covered in the Accessibility Statement. This statement does not replace it.

2. Scope

Visitor surface (patients, companions, guests and field staff):

  • visitor home screen, feedback, hygiene ratings, surveys, content pages and ticket tracking
  • language picker, page language marking and right-to-left text direction for Arabic
  • ticket status email and SMS sent to the visitor

Admin surface (organization staff):

  • setup, preferences, lists, filters, duration labels, audit log sentences and report group names
  • country and time zone names
  • staff alerts, the quiet-hours SMS digest and device chart labels
  • labels in Excel and PDF exports

Out of scope:

  • Plain-language quality of pages, surveys, posters and legal text written by the organization
  • The language of third-party products (for example, the identity service's sign-in pages)
  • German and Arabic in the admin panel (intentionally not offered; the admin panel stays left-to-right)

3. Supported languages

SurfaceLanguagesHow it works
Visitor interfaceTurkish, English, German, ArabicBuilt-in language catalogs; visitors can switch language and the choice is remembered. Arabic opens right-to-left. The organization can turn off any language except its default.
Admin panelTurkish, EnglishThe organization language is chosen at setup and cannot be changed afterwards. Left-to-right.

Visitor forms and frequent error messagesVisitor: four languages; admin: Turkish and EnglishThe server returns a stable error code and the screen writes the message from the language catalog

4. AI translation

  • Dynamic content translation: a page or survey the organization writes in Turkish can be shown to visitors translated by AI into their chosen language. Translation targets only the four visitor languages and is off by default.
  • Comment and message translation: admins can read feedback that visitors wrote in other languages in their own language. This feature is also off by default.
  • Translations use the provider selected in the organization's AI settings.
  • If translation fails, the content is shown in the source language with the correct language marking.
  • AI translation is not reviewed by humans, and no terminology database is used. Translation quality depends on the quality of the source text. For text that affects patient safety or has legal effect, we recommend that the organization use an approved translation.

5. Plain-language target and status

ISO 24495-1 is a writing standard that aims to help readers find, understand and use the information they need. EnaFeedback's interface and system sentences are written to these principles: short sentences, familiar words and consistent labels from the language catalogs.

Met in internal review:

  • The visitor interface uses the same key set in all four languages. Arabic opens right-to-left.
  • The admin panel uses the same key set in Turkish and English.
  • A missing language key stops the release build in continuous integration.
  • The ticket status email and SMS to the visitor follow the feedback's language, not the organization language.
  • Staff alerts, the quiet-hours digest, device and country names, audit sentences and duration units follow the organization language.
  • The general error page, which cannot read the language preference, shows Turkish and English sentences together with separate language markings.
  • Visitor forms and frequent notices receive a stable error code from the server; the sentence on screen comes from the language catalog.
  • Result sentences stay within two lines, filter names are short and follow one pattern, duration units use clear abbreviations, and the status message to the visitor is a single sentence.

Not claimed:

  • Every server error message in every language
  • Human review of AI translation (a translation service in the ISO 17100 sense)
  • Interpreting or healthcare interpreting (ISO 21998)
  • A plain-language score for text written by the organization

6. Known limitations

  • The admin panel has no German or Arabic interface. This is a deliberate product decision.
  • Error messages for some admin operations (create, update, delete and field validation) are in Turkish only. The dynamic validation list for survey questions is shown with a fallback sentence.
  • Audit log search looks in the sentence stored when the record was written. Although the list is shown in the organization language, an English search may not find an older record written in Turkish.
  • AI translation depends on the quality of the source text; there is no human review, terminology database or ISO 17100 process.
  • The general error page cannot read the language preference; both languages are shown side by side.
  • Content, posters and legal text written by the organization are outside the plain-language scope of this statement.
  • ISO 17100 is for translation service providers. EnaFeedback is not a translation agency.
  • ISO 21998 is for healthcare interpreting. EnaFeedback does not provide interpreters.
