Solution for hospitals

Measure patient experience and hygiene where they happen

EnaFeedback is a platform that collects patient and companion feedback, hygiene ratings and cleaning logs in hospitals through QR codes, NFC tags and live displays. Every report knows which polyclinic, floor or restroom it came from and goes to the right team as a ticket.

Feedback that knows its location

Every QR code and NFC tag is tied to a location. "Block B, 2nd-floor patient restroom" arrives with the report.

1–5 hygiene ratings

Patients and companions rate cleanliness from very dirty to very clean and can add a photo and a comment.

Verified cleaning logs

Staff log cleaning and inspections on site; an NFC tag or live display QR can verify they were physically there.

Tickets routed to resolution teams

Complaints become tickets, are routed with a note to maintenance or housekeeping, and close with a recorded result.

Visitor screens in four languages

Turkish, English, German and Arabic (right-to-left); AI translation lets admins read comments written in other languages.

Evidence ready for the quality unit

Report on hygiene, plan compliance and ticket times; export to Excel and PDF, with every export recorded in the audit log.

Common challenges

  • Complaint box forms are read weeks later, so nobody knows about a problem while it is happening.
  • Paper cleaning charts get filled in behind the door, but proving that cleaning actually happened is hard.
  • The quality unit compiles patient satisfaction and hygiene data by hand before every audit or review.
  • Complaints bounce between patient relations, maintenance and housekeeping by email and phone, with no record of who did what.
  • Patients and companions who do not speak Turkish have no channel to raise an issue.
  • Polyclinic surveys get low response rates, and results are not broken down by department.

Where QR and NFC points go

  • Polyclinic waiting areas
  • Patient and visitor restrooms
  • Ward corridors and nurse stations
  • Emergency department waiting room
  • Laboratory and blood draw unit
  • Imaging (radiology) waiting areas
  • Admissions and cashier desks
  • Cafeteria and dining hall
  • Elevator lobbies and the main entrance hall
  • Prayer rooms and companion rest areas

See patient experience by polyclinic

Patient satisfaction surveys usually go out as one general form, and the results collapse into a single hospital-wide average. With EnaFeedback, every polyclinic, ward and waiting area has its own QR code. When a patient answers a survey in the cardiology polyclinic, the response is stored with that location.

Instead of "hospital satisfaction," you get findings you can act on, such as "wait-time complaints rose in the ophthalmology waiting area." Surveys support Likert scales, single and multiple choice, short and long answers, number questions and a consent checkbox, and each published survey version is stored unchanged.

The feedback form has four categories: request, suggestion, complaint and thanks. Complaints open at high priority automatically, and thank-you notes are kept so you can share them with the team.

Evidence for hygiene indicators and quality programs

Restrooms, waiting areas and patient rooms are where hygiene is most visible. Patients and companions rate cleanliness on a five-point scale. You can turn on alert rules for low scores (1 or 2) so the person in charge hears about it by email, SMS or in-app notification.

Cleaning and inspection plans are defined as shift slots. The system compares required cleanings with actual logs and calculates plan compliance as a percentage. Inspection logs include a checklist built from your control parameters; quality of 70% or higher counts as sufficient.

EnaFeedback does not certify accreditation or standards compliance. It helps your quality team produce the evidence internal and external reviews ask for: cleaning logs with date, time, location and staff, plan compliance reports and hygiene rating analysis.

  • Cleaning log analysis by location and date range
  • Staff cleaning and inspection performance reports
  • Cleaning and inspection plan compliance rates
  • Excel and PDF export

Traceable cleaning logs for infection-control-relevant areas

In areas such as ICU waiting rooms, dialysis unit restrooms or the corridor outside isolation rooms, you need to know when cleaning happened and who did it. Staff scan the QR code or tap the NFC tag at the location and log "Cleaning done" or "Checked."

You can require verification: the location must come from an NFC trust token or the rotating QR on a live display. The "Fresh session required" setting means the log must be written within 5 minutes of the scan. Every log stores whether the session was verified and fresh. NFC verification works only in the EnaFeedback mobile app; tapping a tag without the app opens the location in the browser as an unverified visit.

Cleaning and support staff can also check in and out at the same points at the start and end of a shift. You see who was on duty in which ward and for how long, next to the cleaning logs.

These logs do not replace your infection control committee. They give the team a reliable data set to review cleaning frequency and coverage.

From complaint to resolution: ticket management

Every piece of feedback creates a ticket. Patient relations or an authorized admin routes it to one or more resolution teams, such as maintenance or housekeeping, with a required note. Team members see the ticket in their team inbox, add notes and conclude the routing with a result such as "Action taken" or "Forwarded."

If the patient left contact details, they get an email or SMS when the ticket status changes, and they can check status themselves with the request code. Feedback analytics show time to first read, time to close, the age of unread tickets and close results by category, so you can review response times after the fact.

Patients and companions who speak other languages

The visitor interface is available in Turkish, English, German and Arabic, with Arabic shown right-to-left. Patients choose their own language, and live displays rotate through the enabled languages.

With AI translation turned on, admins can read comments written in these languages in their own language, and surveys and content pages can be translated into the visitor’s language. The visitor interface targets WCAG 2.2 AA.

Built with AFSÜ Health Practice and Research Hospital

EnaFeedback is developed by ENA Innovation, a technopark company at Zafer Technopark supported by Afyonkarahisar Health Sciences University (AFSÜ). AFSÜ Health Practice and Research Hospital is a reference user under a protocol.

Each customer runs on a dedicated application stack with its own database and file storage. Visitor feedback is anonymous by default; your organization decides which contact fields and which consent text to use.

Frequently asked questions

Does EnaFeedback make our hospital compliant with an accreditation or quality standard?
No, EnaFeedback does not certify compliance. It helps you produce evidence for quality programs: cleaning logs with location and time, plan compliance rates, hygiene rating analysis and ticket resolution times.
Do patients need to download an app?
No. A patient or companion scans the QR code with the phone camera or taps the NFC tag, and the form opens in the browser. No account is needed, and submissions are anonymous by default.
How do we know cleaning staff logged their work on site?
With "Verification required" on, a log can only come from a session opened by an NFC trust token or the rotating QR on a live display. "Fresh session required" also makes staff log within 5 minutes of the scan.
Does a low hygiene score open a ticket automatically?
No, escalation is manual by design. You can turn on alert rules for scores of 1 or 2, and an authorized user turns the rating into a ticket with "Transfer as feedback." Photos are copied to the ticket.
Where is patient data stored?
Each customer runs on a dedicated stack with its own database and file storage, hosted on Huawei Cloud behind Cloudflare. Visitors are anonymous by default; your organization configures contact fields and consent text.
