Languages and accessibility
The 4 visitor languages, right-to-left Arabic, AI translation switches, and EnaFeedback's WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility target and known limits.
EnaFeedback's visitor and staff screens are available in four languages: Turkish, English, German and Arabic. The admin panel is available in Turkish and English. This article explains how languages are managed, when AI translation comes in, and what the product's accessibility target is.
Required role
Organization language and translation settings live under System → System settings and require the Owner or Administrator role.
Which screen uses which language?
| Surface | Languages |
|---|---|
| Visitor and staff web screens | Turkish, English, German, Arabic |
| Admin panel | Turkish, English |
| Mobile app | Turkish, English, German, Arabic |
| Notifications, Excel and PDF exports | Organization language (Turkish or English) |
| Poster PDF text | Downloadable in Turkish or English |
- Visitors can switch language themselves.
- Arabic is shown right-to-left (RTL). No other language is right-to-left, and the admin panel is always left-to-right.
- Live displays rotate through the enabled visitor languages every 45 seconds.
Set up languages and translation
Check the organization language
The organization language is chosen in the setup wizard and is locked after setup. You can see it with the timezone and country under System → System settings → Regional settings.
Choose visitor languages
Turn off languages you do not serve. Any language except the organization's default can be turned off.
Turn on AI translation
Under System → System settings → AI preferences, turn on the translation switches you need. All three are off by default.
| Switch | What it does |
|---|---|
| Dynamic content translation (visitor) | Translates pages, surveys and module text into the visitor's language |
| Comment/message translation (admin) | Lets admins read feedback written in other languages |
| Transcript translation | Translates transcripts produced from media attachments |
AI translation targets only the four visitor languages. Translation is subject to built-in daily AI usage limits.
Plain language
Visitor copy targets the ISO 24495-1:2023 plain-language standard, with partial conformance. Writing your own pages and surveys in short sentences improves both readability and machine translation.
Accessibility
EnaFeedback targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. According to the published accessibility statement, the status is partial conformance, based on internal review only. The statement is not a certificate or a third-party audit report.
Measures in place:
- Skip links and keyboard access
- Focus kept inside open dialogs
- Support for reduced-motion preferences
- Error messages announced to screen readers
- Radio groups that follow the WAI-ARIA Authoring Practices
- Correct language and direction attributes (right-to-left for Arabic)
- Contrast fixes, table captions and text alternatives for charts
- Automated accessibility linting in the development pipeline
Known limits:
- Success criterion 2.5.5 (target size) is not claimed.
- Criterion 2.5.7 (dragging movements) has gaps in image cropping, dragging in the page editor and panning in the image lightbox.
- No field test with assistive technology has been recorded yet.
- The poster template editor canvas and charts are not claimed as accessible widgets.
Accessibility feedback
If you find an accessibility problem, write to support@enainnovation.com. The statement promises a reply within 10 business days. Mentioning the screen, browser and any assistive technology you use speeds up the review.
