Content pages
Create content pages or external links for visitors and staff, with editor features, 50 MB video, WebVTT captions, translation and page analytics.
Content pages are the EnaFeedback module for giving information to visitors who scan a QR code, or to signed-in staff. Visiting hours, patient rights, emergency instructions or a training video for staff appear under the Pages tile on the location's hub.
Required role
- Page manager: creates, publishes and analyzes pages.
- Owner and Administrator can also do everything with pages.
Page or Link?
| Kind | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Page | You want to show content inside EnaFeedback, with rich text and media |
| Link | You want to send the visitor to an external https address, such as your organization's website |
For both kinds you choose an audience: Visitor or Staff. Pages follow the same lifecycle as surveys: Draft, Published, Archived. Duplicate, publish-window history, per-location opt-out and the show-on-hub option work the same way as for surveys. Each page can use one of 166 icons in 8 categories.
Editor features
- Bold, italic, underline and strikethrough
- H2 and H3 headings, lists, quotes, horizontal rules and alignment
- Links, images with alt text, and resizable tables
- A media grid of 2–4 columns
- YouTube and Vimeo embeds, and uploaded video
The page body can hold up to 200,000 characters.
Video and captions
- Uploaded video can be up to 50 MB in MP4, WebM or MOV. It is converted to H.264 on the server.
- You can add an optional WebVTT caption file of up to 512 KB.
- If you do not upload captions, they are generated automatically from an AI transcript where possible.
Captions for accessibility
Automatic captions cannot always be produced and may contain transcription errors. For important videos, uploading your own WebVTT file is the most reliable option.
Create a page
Open page management
For a visitor page go to Pages → Visitor page management; for a staff page go to Pages → Staff page management.
Choose the kind
Create a new Page or Link. Give it a title and pick an icon.
Write the content
For a Page, use the editor to add text, images, tables and video. Remember to write alt text for images. For a Link, enter the https address.
Set placement
Opt out the locations where the page should not appear, set the show-on-hub option, and drag pages into order.
Publish
Publish the page and scan a location's QR code to check how it looks.
Translation
When Dynamic content translation is on, pages are machine-translated into the visitor's chosen language (Turkish, English, German or Arabic). This feature is off by default. See the Languages and accessibility article for details.
Analytics
Page views and time on page are recorded. See results in Pages → Visitor page analytics or Pages → Staff page analytics: overview, per page, by location and a view list. Reports export to Excel.
Tips and common mistakes
- When a YouTube or Vimeo embed loads, the visitor's IP address and browser details reach that service. If you want to avoid this, upload the video directly.
- If you only need to share a link, use the Link kind instead of an almost empty Page.
- Short, plain sentences also make machine translation easier to understand.
