Surveys
Build visitor and staff surveys with 9 question types, Draft, Published and Archived states, versions, location placement and Excel reports.
EnaFeedback surveys let you show short forms to visitors who scan a location's QR code, or to signed-in staff. You can cover a polyclinic patient satisfaction survey, a common-area cleanliness survey or a staff satisfaction form with the same tool. Responses are reported per location and exported to Excel.
Required role
- Survey manager: creates, publishes and analyzes surveys.
- Owner and Administrator can also do everything with surveys.
Question types
EnaFeedback has 9 question types. Six collect answers; Text block and Divider are for layout only.
| Question type | What it does |
|---|---|
| Likert scale | 3, 4, 5, 7 or 10 points; shown as numbers, stars or emoji, with optional end labels |
| Single choice | One option; optional "Other" answer |
| Multiple choice | Several options; optional "Other" answer |
| Short answer | One line of text |
| Long answer | Multi-line text |
| Number | Minimum, maximum, decimals, step and unit |
| Text block | Explanation or instructions |
| Divider | Visually separates sections |
| Consent | A checkbox that always sits at the bottom of the form |
Likert questions also have a quality direction. For choice questions the UI suggests up to 20 options.
There is no NPS type
There is no standard 0–10 NPS question. The closest option is a 10-point Likert scale, which is not the same as standard NPS.
Audience and lifecycle
Each survey targets either Visitor or Staff. Staff surveys require a staff sign-in.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Draft | Being prepared, not shown to respondents |
| Published | Collecting responses at the selected locations |
| Archived | Taken offline, results kept |
The flow is Draft → Published ↔ Archived. You can publish an archived survey again.
Questions lock after the first publish
Once a survey has been published, its questions cannot be changed. To edit them, use Duplicate, edit the copy and publish it.
Every published content change creates an immutable version, and each response is tied to the version it answered. Publish windows record when the survey was live; they are history, not a scheduling tool.
Create a survey
Open survey management
For a visitor survey go to Surveys → Visitor survey management; for a staff survey go to Surveys → Staff survey management.
Start a new survey
Create a new survey or duplicate a similar one. There is no template library. If you chose demo data during setup, you can start from example surveys such as polyclinic satisfaction.
Add questions
Pick question types and set options and scales. Add a Consent question if you need one.
Set placement
Opt out the locations where the survey should not appear, set the show-on-hub option, and drag surveys into order.
Publish
Check the questions one last time and publish. After this step you cannot change the questions.
Sessions and privacy
Each response is recorded as a session: Completed or Open/abandoned, with duration, language and device. Sessions store no respondent identity, even for staff surveys. Open sessions older than 90 days are deleted by an hourly job.
Reports
See results in Surveys → Visitor survey analytics or Surveys → Staff survey analytics. Reports include an overview, results by location, sessions, per-question summaries, choice and consent breakdowns, text answers and session detail. All reports export to Excel.
