EnaFeedback is one product that people reach through different "surfaces": managers use the admin panel, field staff use the staff panel, visitors use the visitor page they open with a QR code, screens in waiting areas run as a live display, and the EnaFeedback mobile app brings three of these roles (visitor, staff and admin) into one app. This article explains each surface, who uses it, how to open it and how to read the surface badges used across the Help Center.

Required role, permission and version

  • This is a reference page; you need no role to read it.
  • What each surface needs to sign in is listed under its heading below.
  • Facts were checked against EnaFeedback 2.3.0 and EnaFeedback Mobile 1.10.0.

Every surface connects to your organization's EnaFeedback server; a record entered on one surface shows up on the others.

Admin panel (/admin)

  • Admin panel

For the organization's managers and users who have been given access. Setup, locations and posters, users and roles, module settings, reports, the Message center and system settings all live here. The menus you see depend on your role and permissions.

  • How to open it: Add /admin to your organization's EnaFeedback address. Every organization has its own address; get it from your administrator or your invitation e-mail.
  • Sign-in: With the user account you created from your invitation.
  • Devices: Designed for a desktop browser; since EnaFeedback 2.3.0 it also works fully in phone and tablet browsers. See Admin panel on phones and tablets.

Staff panel (/staff)

  • Staff panel

For field staff who do cleaning, control and check-in / check-out work. Staff record cleaning and control logs, check in and out, open staff surveys and pages, send workplace feedback and use the Message center.

  • How to open it: Add /staff to your organization's address, or tap Staff hub at the bottom of the visitor page.
  • Sign-in: With a personnel code. On a saved device, Quick sign-in also works with face or fingerprint unlock. A staff session lasts 12 hours.
  • Home-screen app: Use your phone browser's "Add to Home Screen" option and the panel appears as an icon named EnaFeedback that opens the staff panel directly. Requires: EnaFeedback 2.3.0

Details: Staff panel.

Visitor page (/visitor)

  • Visitor page

For visitors such as patients' relatives, students and passengers. No sign-in is needed. For the location they scanned, visitors send a Cleaning report or Feedback, take surveys, read content pages and check a request code under Track request.

  • How to open it: Scan the QR code on a location's poster with the phone camera, or scan the QR code on a live display. If the page is opened without a scan, it first asks you to scan a QR code.
  • Location session: Stays open for at most 30 minutes after the scan.

Details: Visitor screen.

Live display

  • Live display

For a TV, monitor or tablet in a waiting room, corridor or lobby. The display shows the location's QR code and refreshes it every 15 seconds, shows visitor announcements and rotates through the organization's enabled visitor languages. A session opened from a live display's QR code counts as verified.

  • How to open it: Open your organization's /display page in the screen's browser and enter the Registration code shown on the Displays screen in the admin panel.

Details: Live displays.

Mobile app

  • Mobile app

The EnaFeedback mobile app for Android and iOS is in internal testing and coming soon to the stores. It works in three roles:

RoleWho uses itHow to sign in
VisitorAnyoneNo sign-in; joining the organization is enough
StaffField staffSign in → Personnel sign-in, with a personnel code
AdminAdmin panel usersSign in → Administrator sign-in, with the admin panel account

When you first open the app, the Add organisation screen appears: join by entering the Organisation code, or by scanning a poster's QR code or NFC tag at the organization. One device can hold several organizations.

Details: Mobile app and Setup and organizations.

How to read badges and version labels

Under its title, every Help Center article shows where it applies and which release it was checked against.

  • Applies to: Badges for the surfaces the article covers. The mobile app shows as one badge; if the article covers only some roles, they are listed next to it (for example "Mobile app · staff, admin").
  • Requires: The first release with the feature, for example "Requires: EnaFeedback 2.2.0 · EnaFeedback Mobile 1.9.0". If your organization runs an older release, the feature may be missing. The same label can also appear next to a single feature inside an article.
  • Verified with …: The releases the whole article was checked against. If an article was verified with an older release, a yellow notice appears below it: screen names or steps may differ in the current release.
  • Section notes: Boxes inside an article titled "Only in …", "Not available in …" or "Works differently in …" mark a section that is not the same on every surface and tell you what to do instead. When a task is done differently on two surfaces, the steps are split into tabs.

How to find your version

  • Admin panel: The Release notes link in the menu shows the server version (for example "v2.3.0 · Release notes").
  • Mobile app: Settings → About shows the app version and your organization's server version.

Known limits

  • Visitor and staff tasks need a location session; the location is chosen with a QR code, an NFC tag or a live display.
  • The mobile app is not in the stores yet. Ask your administrator or our support team about access.
  • Push notifications are not active yet; messages appear in the Message center.
