QR codes and posters
Learn how EnaFeedback QR codes work, how long a location session lasts, how to download posters and bulk ZIPs, test QR codes and read scan analytics.
A QR poster is the most common way visitors reach a location in EnaFeedback. A visitor scans the code with their phone and lands on that location's visitor screen, with no app to install and no account to create. From there they can rate cleanliness, send feedback, take a survey or read content pages. Every location has its own QR code, tied to the location's 6-character code.
Required role
- Downloading posters, running a QR test and sharing links require Owner or Administrator (Organization menu group).
- Prerequisite: locations already exist under Organization → Buildings. See Location hierarchy.
QR code format
Every QR code uses one central address:
https://qr.enainnovation.com/EF + 4-character customer code + 6-character location code
Example: https://qr.enainnovation.com/EFXT43RK3N2B. The 12 characters at the end read as follows: "EF" is the product code, followed by your organization's 4-character customer code and the location's 6-character code.
How a scan resolves
- The visitor scans the code. The central ENA Cloud service looks up the customer code.
- The visitor is redirected to your organization's own EnaFeedback address, at that location.
- If the code is invalid or unknown, ENA Cloud shows an error page.
- Your organization's server opens a location session and shows the visitor screen. If a staff session is already active on the same phone, the staff screen opens instead.
Location session
The location session remembers, for a short time, which location the phone is at:
| Rule | Duration |
|---|---|
| Maximum session length | 30 minutes |
| Ends early after time in the background or without activity | 15 minutes |
| Counts as "fresh" (since last confirmation) | 5 minutes |
| Closing warning | Final 2 minutes |
When the session ends, the visitor scans the code again. This limits feedback sent from somewhere else using an old scan.
Download a poster
Find the location
On Organization → Buildings, find the location and open its actions.
Choose Download poster
Select Download poster.
Pick the format and language
If you choose a template, the poster is built as a PDF. Without a template, only the QR code downloads, as a PNG. You can download the poster text in Turkish or English.
Print and hang it
Print the PDF and hang it at the location, at a height that is easy to scan.
PDF or PNG?
- PDF poster: the template's background, text and QR codes on a single page. Poster PDFs are rendered on your organization's own server.
- QR PNG: the QR code alone. Use it to place the code on your own design or an existing sign.
Bulk download (ZIP)
You can download posters for several locations in one ZIP file:
- One ZIP holds up to 100 locations. For more, download in several batches.
- With a template, the ZIP contains PDFs; without one, it contains PNGs.
Poster language
Poster PDF text can be Turkish or English. The visitor screen supports Turkish, English, German and Arabic, so the poster language does not limit the languages a visitor can choose.
QR test and share link
- QR test: run the QR test from a location's actions to check that the code opens the right location. Test a few samples before you print in bulk.
- Share link: copy the location link, send it by SMS or email, or use your device's share menu. This is useful, for example, to add a feedback link to a patient information message.
Scan analytics
The Organization → Scan analytics report shows how often your locations are scanned.
- Channel filter: All, QR, Dynamic QR (live display) and NFC.
- QR kind: the central QR code and the shared location link are shown separately.
The scan channel is EnaFeedback's own internal record. Marketing UTM parameters are not captured.
Tips and common mistakes
- Renaming a location does not change its QR code, so you do not need to reprint.
- Scanning the poster of an inactive location shows the visitor a notice that the location is inactive. That is enough to close a location without removing the poster.
- If you need to prove where someone is, use a live display or an NFC tag read with the mobile app rather than a printed QR. A photo of a printed QR code can be scanned from anywhere.
