If your organisation uses the cafeteria module, you record that you had your meal by scanning the cafeteria's QR code, live display or NFC tag and tapping once. You can do this from the web staff panel or the EnaFeedback mobile app. The button only shows while a meal is being served, and each meal is recorded once a day. For the admin settings, read Cafeteria. Meal records need EnaFeedback 2.5.0 Requires: EnaFeedback 2.5.0 and EnaFeedback Mobile 1.13.0 Requires: EnaFeedback Mobile 1.13.0.

Recording a meal

Scan the cafeteria

Scan the cafeteria's QR code with your phone camera, or the QR code on the live display. Sign in with your personnel code or Quick sign-in.

Open the cafeteria card

The cafeteria card appears under Quick actions on the staff panel. Its second line tells you the state: the meal being served and when it ends, the meal you had and when, or the next meal.

Tap I had my meal

Open the card and tap I had my meal. The record is saved straight away, and the screen shows the meal as taken with the time and the cafeteria.

What the card shows

StateMeaning
Being servedYou are within a meal's service hours and have not had that meal today. The I had my meal button shows.
TakenYou had this meal today; the time and cafeteria are shown. If you had it at another cafeteria, that cafeteria's name appears.
No meal service right nowYou are outside the service hours. The next meal and its time are shown, or that there are no more meals today.

Below the card, the cafeteria's meals and times for today are listed, with the ones you had ticked. The card refreshes itself when a service starts or ends.

Common situations

  • No card: the location you scanned is not a cafeteria, the cafeteria is closed, or it is open only to certain personnel groups and you are not in them.
  • "You already had this meal today": each meal is recorded once a day; you may have recorded it from your phone or at another cafeteria.
  • "There is no meal service at this cafeteria right now": the service may have closed just before your tap; the card refreshes and shows the next meal.
  • Verification or a fresh session is asked for: if your organisation requires a verified or fresh location session, the card shows a label saying so. Scan the live display's QR code or the NFC tag with the mobile app again.
  • I forgot to record: your admin can add the meal manually with a note.

My meals

In the mobile app, Settings → My meals, or the My meals link on the cafeteria card, shows your meals in the chosen month day by day: total meals, days with meals and each day's meals and cafeterias. Records voided by an admin are not listed.
