This guide walks you through the minimum steps to go from a fresh workspace to receiving your first piece of feedback.
Step 1 — Set up your location
Every piece of feedback in Enafeedback is linked to a location. Locations follow a hierarchy: Building → Floor → Unit.
- Open the admin dashboard at your workspace URL.
- Navigate to Buildings in the left sidebar.
- Click Add building and give it a name (e.g. Main Campus).
- Inside the building, add a floor (e.g. Ground Floor).
- On the floor, add one or more units (e.g. Reception, Restroom A).
Each unit is an addressable point where a poster can be placed.
You can import locations in bulk from a CSV file. See Managing Locations for details.
Step 2 — Create a survey
- Navigate to Survey Management in the sidebar.
- Click New survey.
- Give the survey a name and select a language (surveys support multiple languages).
- In the Survey Builder, add questions. Start with a simple rating question (1–5 scale) and a text comment field.
- Click Save.
Not sure what to ask? Use one of the built-in templates. Templates are available for NPS, CSAT, employee satisfaction, hygiene assessment, and more.
Step 3 — Create a QR poster
- Navigate to Templates in the sidebar.
- Select an existing template or click New template.
- In the template editor, choose the poster type as Survey and link it to the survey you just created.
- Assign the poster to a location (the unit you created in Step 1).
- Click Download PDF to get the printable poster.
The poster contains a unique QR code. This code encodes a session URL that identifies both the location and the active survey.
Step 4 — Collect responses
Print the poster and place it at the location. When a visitor scans the QR code:
- They are taken to the branded survey form.
- They complete the form (typically 30–60 seconds).
- Their response is recorded in real time.
You will see the first response appear in the Dashboard and in Survey → Responses within seconds.
Step 5 — View analytics
Navigate to Analytics to see:
- Total response count
- Average rating
- NPS score (if you included an NPS question)
- Response timeline
- Per-location breakdown
