AI Transcription
When a visitor submits an audio recording as a feedback attachment, AI Transcription converts the audio to text automatically.
Supported formats
- MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, WebM
- Maximum file size: 25 MB
- Maximum duration: 10 minutes
How transcription works
- Visitor attaches an audio file to a feedback or survey form.
- The file is uploaded to your workspace's secure storage.
- The transcription job is queued automatically.
- Within 30–120 seconds, the transcript appears in the ticket or session detail view alongside the original audio file.
The transcript is stored in your database and is never sent to external services beyond the transcription step.
Viewing transcripts
Open any feedback ticket or survey session that has an audio attachment. The transcript is shown below the audio player. You can:
- Copy the transcript text.
- Flag a portion for follow-up.
- Download the transcript as a text file.
Accuracy
Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality and accent. For best results:
- Use a quiet environment.
- Speak clearly and at a moderate pace.
- Keep recordings under 5 minutes.
Languages supported match the languages supported by Google Gemini for your region.
AI Translation
AI Translation automatically translates visitor feedback into the admin team's preferred language.
How it works
If a visitor submits feedback in a language different from the workspace's primary language, a translation is generated automatically and shown alongside the original text.
For example, if your team operates in English but receives a French comment, the ticket detail view shows:
- Original: "Le service était excellent mais les toilettes manquaient de papier."
- Translation (EN): "The service was excellent but the restrooms were out of paper."
Configuration
Translation is enabled by default for all workspaces with an active AI plan. To disable it:
- Navigate to Global Settings → AI Controls.
- Toggle Auto-translate feedback to off.
You can also set the target translation language (defaults to the workspace's primary language).
Supported translation pairs
AI Translation supports all language pairs available via the Google Gemini API — over 40 languages. The source language is detected automatically.
Translation quota
Each translation consumes a small amount of your workspace's AI token quota. Translations are cached per-submission — if the same text is translated twice, the cached result is used without consuming additional quota.
